Panel Discussion and Opening Reception February 5th

"Time In: Refocusing the Lens of Motherhood" is an exhibition of work by eleven contemporary female photographers, and mothers, who have chosen their children as the subject matter in their photographs. Curated by Larry Gawel of WorkSpace Gallery, Time In represents the first thematic group exhibition he has curated, brought about by countless portfolio reviews and personal interactions between himself and the artists over the previous year. The exhibition will be on display at the Elder Gallery on the campus of Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska from January 19th to February 21st, 2016. An opening reception is planned on Friday, February 5th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a panel discussion, featuring the curator and several of the artists, taking place directly beforehand at 4:00 p.m.
