This is for one-on-one help. I want to keep it simple and offer only two options. No reason to complicate things. The world is complicated enough without me adding to the stress. Your mentoring session will be tailor made for YOU and what you want to learn.

FOR THE BEGINNER - {$250 for the first two hours. $100 each additional hour}

I get a lot of requests to teach basic camera function in manual mode and basic shooting skills. This would be best for anyone that's a beginner and is local. I'm not sure I could teach a basic camera class over Skype. If you already know how to use your camera in manual mode but are still a beginner, we can also get together and I can help you with any topic you like. Before you book, we'll discuss your needs and I'll then be able to let you know if what you desire to learn is something I feel qualified to teach you.

What's considered a beginner you ask? A beginner is someone that doesn't make any money from photography. You're someone that enjoys photographing your family or are a hobbyist and want to have more control over your shooting.

Want to learn with a friend? - {$400 for the first two hours. $150 each additional hour.}

AMATEUR OR ADVANCED AMATEUR - {$200 for the first hour. $125 each additional hour}

This option is for amateur and advanced amateur photographers.  I'll share knowledge on my shooting style, processing and miscellaneous info I've acquired from my foray into the fine art world. I don't profess to know it all, because I certainly don't, but I've learned quite a bit in the last seven years, when I first dipped my toe into fine art work. I've been shooting for the sheer joy of it for nearly twenty years, so I've acquired quite a bit of knowledge in photography in general.

This would be a great option for both local and Skype. We'll tailor it to whatever is most important to you, whether it's shooting, processing, your website, your portfolio or any number of things. I'll of course evaluate what your needs are beforehand and decide if I'm able to help you. If I'm not able to, I may be able to refer you to someone that can.

What's considered an amateur or advanced amateur? You have a working knowledge of digital workflow and manual mode on your digital SLR camera. You also may make money from photography.
